Aether

The Demon King Aether is the twin primordial earthly incarnation of Sakyamuni, sharing the exact same origin with the Peacock King.

In ancient times, the Peacock King ruled the unified Peacock Kingdom and held the orthodox power of light in the world. Tormented by extreme jealousy and unwillingness, Aether was corrupted by dark obsessions and completely fell into the Demon Realm. To balance the darkness, the primal power of light sealed him eternally within the heart of the Demon Realm, the Nine Nether Abyss.

Even trapped in the seal, he rules the entire Nine Nether Demon Realm and commands endless shadow power. He harbors grand ambitions to subvert the three realms: he plots day and night to break free from the Nine Nether Abyss, invade the four territories of the mortal realm first, and then ascend to challenge the God Realm and overthrow the order of light.

Yet the light shackles sealing him are unbreakable. His only way to shatter the bondage of light and fulfill his ambition to dominate the three realms, is to seize the Sunflower Pearl passed down by generations of the Sunflower Queen—the very source of the world’s primal light. He is the deepest, strongest fated dark enemy on Pithy’s journey to chase light.
